Come Together

We love to do events at CFC! We are an event church. The old adage, "The family that plays together, stays together", applies to churches as well, therefore, we believe in playing together. Our events vary from fun Big Days, to conferences, to special services. Many of the new events have become so popular that we schedule them every year now. Others are bi-annual or as the need requires. Keep an eye on our event calendar because you never know what might show up next. We hope to see you at one of our next events!

  • LEGACY CONFERENCE --- Think bigger, wider and deeper. Our annual Legacy Conference is about long-term planning in regards to our vision and goals financially and spiritually for both individual families and the church body. It’s about building a $1,000,000,000 trust fund for the next generation to do the work of the Great Commission. This two-day event hosts numerous speakers within the church body and a prominent guest speaker to help you refresh your thinking. Educational materials are provided through the Legacy Book Series including titles “The Great Exchange; the Blessing for the Tithe” and “Living Beneath an Open Heaven.” It’s about the next generation, passing on the faith, and setting them up to win. If there is a generation following you, don’t miss this event.

April

  • PALM SUNDAY – Come and get your palm branch on Palm Sunday…a symbol of triumph and victory. Find out why we celebrate the beginning of holy week the Sunday service before Easter. We’ll fill you in on this ancient story and what it means for you today!
  • EASTER OUTREACH --- Eggs, eggs and more eggs. Our Easter weekend starts off on Saturday with our annual community wide 50,000 Egg Hunt for children ages 2-12. Attractions include pony rides, a live petting zoo, a visit from the Easter Bunny and concessions, just to name a few. Four golden eggs (one per age group) await savvy egg hunters to claim the generous prize they hold. This event is held outdoors on the church property rain or shine. Your kids will love it.!

  • ANNUAL WOMENS CONFERENCE – Girls just want to have fun! Ladies, don’t miss this weekend getaway for your spiritual spa. Sit back, relax and let the Lord do a work in you. Soak up motivational messages from women of faith, fellowship among godly women, and indulge your sweet tooth with tasty chocolate treats! By the end of the weekend you will feel refreshed, renewed and recharged!
  • FAMILY CAMP MEMORIAL WEEKEND --- Forget your to-do lists and put on some shorts and suntan lotion and head on out to join your church family for some good old-fashioned fun all weekend long. Hang out with friends in a relaxed family-style setting -- eating, lounging, playing softball and  volleyball with a hog-roast to follow. At night, enjoy the service in the sanctuary with powerful speakers that will recharge your spiritual batteries and remind you of all God has done, is doing, and will do in your life!

  • FATHER'S DAY SERVICE – Dad’s are special at CFC. They provide us Father Power, a God-given privilege to raise and protect, to bless and provide, to discipline and love. Honor Dad on Father’s Day by first honoring the Heavenly Father when attending this special Sunday service.

  • WORLD MISSIONS CONFERENCE --- Watch the Book of Acts being written live before your eyes at this conference! Testimonies from North & South India, The Philippines, Norway and Russia will kindle your fire for missions. Hear about miracles, healings, signs and wonders from first-hand witnesses. You will be inspired and your faith strengthened when you take the opportunity to shake the hands of these men and women from around the world that are truly doing the Great Commission.

October

  • WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY– Celebrate the first Sunday in October with World Communion at CFC. On this day we celebrate our oneness in Christ, the Prince of Peace, in the midst of the world we are called to serve – a world ever more in need of the Good News.
  • FALL FESTIVAL --- Community families enjoy numerous games and inflatable toys at our annual Fall Festival inside and outside the church facility. Masses of excited children scurry from game to game like ring-toss and pop-the-balloon, collecting prizes ranging from stickers to bouncy balls to balloons. Each kid goes home with a paper sack filled to the top with scrumptious sweets. Come dressed in your costume too; you could win a prize!

November

  • THANKSGIVING SERVICE – Pie and Ice Cream Social – A thankful heart is a happy heart. Join us for this special service, the evening before Thanksgiving Day to spend time giving thanks to the Lord for who He is––both privately and publicly through worship and sharing. Hang out with some thankful folks afterwards for some tasty treats and get your Thanksgiving weekend started off thankful!
