Reaching Into Our Communities

We love the communities we live and minister in. Therefore, we host a variety of outreaches and events that help meet the needs of our local residents. Our local outreaches and events include such things as the Food Distribution, Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Harvest Festival, and Heritage Theater. We exist to bless our neighbors and communities in which we live!


Food Distribution

Do you like saving money? You don’t even have to clip coupons. Come out and save some bucks at the CFC Community Food Distribution. This program is a special arm of the church that provides food at a low cost to over 120 households in our community. For only $25, participants receive a shopping cart loaded with various food items such as meat, dairy, bread, fruits and vegetables, just to name a few. Come and check out this program at the CFC facility the first Saturday of each month. Distribution begins at 9am. For more information, call Anissa Disher at 507-213-4905.

El Shaddai Christian School

Training Tomorrow’s Leaders TODAY is the mission of El Shaddai Christian School. Dedicated to students in grades K-12, we have been providing quality education since 1984 in which young people can grow their knowledge, talents, and leadership abilities in a Christian environment. Ask us about our fruit! We’d love to tell you our success stories and how proud we are of our kids.

We use a self-paced curriculum in which students can learn at their own rate and must master a subject before moving on. In addition, Biblical values are conveyed throughout the student’s learning. For more information, contact Pastor Doug Sutcliffe at 507-455-9345.

Christian Family Childcare & Pre School

You love your kids and so do we. Christian Family Childcare & Pre-School Center is like extended family taking care of your kids. CFCP is a branch of Christian Family Church, providing top-notch childcare service since 2000. We’re open from 5:45 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. We believe every child was created by God for a purpose. We make it our mission to demonstrate Godly love and character while they are in our care. Our desire is to see the children happy and comfortable while mom and dad are hard at work. This is a licensed childcare center which participates in the USDA’s Child and Adult Food Program. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are served daily. All staff are trained in First Aid, CPR, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
